2018 SENIORMATTIEDiamonds might be a girls best friend, but Mattie prefers a different kind of diamond. She’s at home on the ball field and this small-town-girl-at-heart is just as down to earth as they come. I loved that Mattie wanted to capture her athletic images...

2018 senior – grant
2018 SENIOR GRANT Five minutes into his session consultation, I knew that Grant was a guy I was really going to enjoy working with. He is driven, possesses some crazy bright determination, and has lofty goals ahead of him that I have no doubt he will accomplish. He’s...
2018 Senior – Erin
2018 SENIOR ERIN It’s officially Senior Week and we’re kicking things off with Erin! This is so fun for me to share because Erin was the WINNER of the Senior Week Giveaway last year. Her sweet friend Brooklyn nominated her and after she won, accompanied us on the...
2018 senior – Kerstin
2018 SENIOR KERSTIN My earliest memory of Kerstin is in one of my Sunday School classes. She was two, maybe three. And completely adorable. She and her family have been a part of our lives ever since and I’m so thankful for that. Kerstin opted for both a Summer and a...
2018 senior – Jakob
2018 SENIOR JAKOB Let’s hear it for the boys! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve met with senior guys and they are really not sure what to think about this whole process. Some of my clients are nervous about the aspect of being photographed, but many are just...
2018 senior – Maddie
2018 SENIOR MADDIE Up next is Maddie! This girl was an absolute joy to capture. Her go-with-the-flow personality landed us at quite a few places around town and I just love the variety we snapped along the way. She rocked each and every idea and was SO willing to do...
2018 senior – Brooklyn
2018 SENIOR BROOKLYN I first met Brooklyn at her dance studio in the Spring of 2015 when I captured her recital portraits. She was a freshman at the time and was so excited to be photographed. Following our short, five minute ballet photo spree, she walked over to me...
2018 senior – Sam
2018 SENIOR SAM One of the great joys I find in this profession is when I get to create for dear friends. I always love to hear my clients’ reactions to their portraits, but when I am able to see and experience that reaction first hand, its just super special. Sam’s...
2018 senior – Ciera
2018 SENIOR CIERA Ya’ll, tomorrow is the first day of Spring. Seriously?!? Don’t get me wrong, I’m as ready as anyone to kiss this cold, never-ending Winter to the curb. Although... the official start of Spring means that Graduation season will be here before we know...
2018 senior – Michael
2018 SENIOR MICHAEL During my senior consultations, I often ask my clients if they have any hobbies or interests they are hoping to incorporate into their session. Sometimes the answer is yes, but most often the answer is a hesitant ‘maybe,’ followed by an ‘if it...
2018 Senior – Hailey
2018 SENIOR HAILEY A windy day wasn’t about to stand in the way of this gorgeous girl shining through her seniors. Hailey had quite a few different looks during her session and it was so fun to find some unique spaces that complimented each of these looks. Which of...
2018 Senior – Joe
2018 SENIOR JOE A few fun facts about Joe. He is a stud on and off the court. You would be jealous of his shoe collection. He knows secret ways into buildings. I first met him when he was four, and his smile is still the same. This same smile can charm a camp director...

ABOUT Me
After 10+ years of capturing portraits, I can count on one hand the number of times someone has said ‘I LOVE to be photographed!’ ONE. HAND. Letting someone photograph you can be a pretty vulnerable thing. And making my subjects feel comfortable is always my number one priority. We ALL have something we don’t love about ourselves, and we ALL are our OWN worst critic. It’s my job to guide you through these concerns to create a portrait that leaves you feeling sincere, inspired and confident!
