We don’t always understand why people say things like “where has the time gone” or “how did our little girl grow up so quickly?”  It’s cliche of course, and obviously there’s truth to it. But honestly, as much as it’s hard to imagine how fleeting the years are with our kids, it’s also so satisfying to know those years were filled to the brim with wonderful moments and memories. You, Campbell, have lived your young life to the fullest, and taken us along for the ride!  We have watched you grow from the little girl who insisted on being called Campbell “Disneyworld” Sharpe, to the young woman who sees a whole new world awaiting her beyond high school. (see what we did there?) You’ve always been a dreamer.  You’ve always been driven. But recently, you’ve learned that dreams change, and new ones await. Isn’t it exciting to see what your next chapter has waiting for you! For all the things we see in you, and the possibilities we believe could be in your future, it’s not for us to decide. You are the one who holds the key and has to stay driven and passionate for the life you want.

 

It’s been a true joy to be your parents. You’re our “lefty”.  Our “daughter number two”.  Our “C Sharpe”. You’ve lived up to every strong willed child trait, ultimately making us better parents because of it. You’ve made us laugh out loud, clinch our teeth in frustration from time to time, and above all, cry tears of pride when when we’ve watched you doing what you love the most on stage.  We’ve loved you always, and no matter what.

 

We wish we could tell you the years ahead will be easy. Or that life will always offer up what you ordered. Of course we can’t.  But we can tell you that you are loved beyond measure. And because of that, you will never be alone in your journey. We’ll forever be your biggest fans, no matter what life stage you’re standing on.  We love you Campbell Jordan Sharpe, and we’re so very proud of you!
