2018 SENIOR

CORBIN

Triple the photos, Triple the fun! Harrington 3/3.

If you’ve followed any of the recent coverage of the Duke and Dutchess of Cambridge’s newest arrival, you’ve probably heard the new-again father’s answer to this question “How does it feel to be a father of three?” The Prince’s response… “Thrice the Worry.”

I can only imagine the Harringtons felt the same when they arrived home with Allison, Bailey & Corbin. Thrice the Worry. I can’t even wrap my brain around caring for three babies at one time. Yet, these three soon-to-be graduates have grown into remarkable adults. I feel like giving Mom and Dad a ginormous, virtual high five.

This was no doubt a unique situation. Mom was hoping for continuity, the seniors hoping for uniqueness. Although a tight knit trio, they each have diverse personalities and interests and had a strong desire to document their Seniors in different ways. With Mom’s blessing, we opted for three different Senior Sessions! My task was twofold. One, showcase their personalities, interests and highlight their uniqueness. Second, make sure we documented enough similar looks at similar locations that she could create a wall display that looked as though it was captured at one time. Uffda!

We captured all three sessions in a little over a week’s time. Bailey was first, Allison followed a few days later. Corbin’s session was documented third and by this point, we were all feeling a little like the movie Groundhog Day as we worked our way through the chosen ‘similar locations.’ Mom was beginning to feel the stress of assisting everyone and being the primary driver. Dad was on call to bring Snickers, the beloved Shih Tzu, out to meet us for a third round of puppy cuddles. I think by this time, Snickers completely knew his way around the park and the onslaught of treats that awaited him. He was the most patient subject and completely adorable. We walked a few too many miles, enchanted butterflies, hopped in a pool and chased some gorgeous sunsets. It was the most fun.

A, B & C are truly great kids, but I’m sure sending three off to college at one time will still be Thrice the Worry. Hang in there, Mom and Dad!
