2022 SENIOR
ANSLEY
Ansley,
Could there be a child more contemplated and desired than you? On our first date we talked of children, our mutual desire for a daughter and, if so blessed, that her name be Ansley. Three years later that dream came true. Fast forward now 18 years and our precious baby has blossomed and matured into a beautiful and accomplished young lady.
Watching you grow has brought us endless joy. Whether it entailed applying yourself academically in school and to your studies, expressing yourself artistically through dance, competing athletically in golf and tennis, or giving to others in service and leadership, yours has been a life of accomplishment and achievement. But your greatest accomplishment is the fine person you’ve become along the way as evidenced in your kind and gentle spirit, thoughtfulness toward others, and love for family and friends.
As a family we’ve been fortunate to travel far and wide sharing new experiences and making lasting memories. These travels will now include flying to and from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, as you journey into adulthood through the quality education, unique experiences, and rich rewards waiting for you at Wake Forest University. We believe you’ve found the perfect place to “bloom where you and planted” and grow in new depth and direction as you begin the next phase in your life’s journey.
As your parents, we thank God and the heavens above for bringing us together and blessing us with you. It’s neither secret nor exaggeration to say that the past 18 years have been the happiest in our lives. While we look forward to your college years and beyond and promise to miss you every day you’re away, we recognize it is time now for you to make your dreams come true. Thank you for fulfilling ours!
Love,
Mom and Dad
