2020 SENIOR
SAM
Congratulations, Sam!
It seems like just yesterday you were learning to walk, teetering and unsure, and reaching for our hands. And now? You are striding into adulthood so confidently, eyes focused on your bright future. Watching you evolve into this savvy, witty, brilliant young man has been one of our greatest joys. As you entered high school, we weren’t sure of your path. What would inspire you? Where would your passions emerge? Your desire to help others, and provide a voice to those in need has exploded. Your leadership with Student Council and STAC (Students Together Against Cancer) have been vehicles for this passion. And speaking of voice? Debate has carefully cultivated yours into an articulate, informed and sophisticated weapon. And all the while, your emphasis on excellence in academics hasn’t wavered. You deserve every accolade, award, recognition, and round of applause given to you. As you walk away from us toward UNL, remember we’re here if you’re ever unsure or teetering. Make good choices, surround yourself with only the best people with the biggest hearts, and keep looking up and forward. Find new passions and inspirations, and light new fires within you and others. And, never forget we are your biggest fans.
All our love,
Mom and Dad
