2026 SENIOR
AVAERIE
My Avaerie,
It’s hard to believe we are already here—your senior year, the edge of a brand-new chapter. I still see you as the little girl who held my hand so tightly, who asked a thousand questions, and who believed I knew everything. Somewhere along the way, that little girl grew into a strong, thoughtful, beautiful, and brave young women.
Being your mom has been one of the greatest joys of my life. I carry so many memories—first days of school, late-night talks, car rides from basketball and soccer filled with singing, laughter, and even the challenging moments that helped shape who you are. Watching you grow has been like watching a beautiful story unfold, and I feel so lucky to have a front-row seat.
As you get ready to step into the world beyond high school, I want you to know that you don’t have to have it all figured out. Life is an adventure meant to be discovered, not perfectly planned. Trust yourself, be kind to your heart, and never be afraid to try something new. There will be highs and lows, successes and mistakes, and all of it will help you become even more amazing.
No matter how grown up you become, you will always have a home with me, a place where you are loved exactly as you are. I am so proud of the person you’ve become and so excited to see where life takes you next.
Thank you for the gift of being your mom. The best parts of my life will always be the memories we’ve made—and the ones still ahead.
I’m already proud of you,
Love Mom
