Dear Addy,

How is it possible that we are busy doing all things related to senior year and graduating when we were just picking out which bow you should wear in your hair for kindergarten pictures? Time has simply flown by in a heartbeat but we have loved watching you grow into a confident and adventurous young lady ready to take on your next adventure. I know the tears will flow freely in May with graduation and then again in August when you move on to your college journey, but we also know how ready you are for the next big step in life! Your strengths will carry you far in life….kindness, empathy, determination, resiliency!  Always be true to yourself and never compromise your beliefs….rely on your faith, friends and family…and know that you always have a listening ear and open arms at home when needed. To quote grandpa’s favorite song…”You are my sunshine, my only sunshine…you make me happy when skies are gray…you never know dear…how much I love you…please don’t take my sunshine away!” Time to go shine your light on the world Addy!!
