2021 SENIOR
CARTER
“One day as you’re brushing the hair out of your little boy’s eyes, or wiping the peanut butter off his sticky fingers, he looks up and gives you a smile that lights him up from the inside out, and you think to yourself, it doesn’t get any better than this. But it does, because he grows up and becomes a good man and a good friend, and his smile still lights up your world.” – paraphrased from an unknown author
Everyone always tells you how quickly time will go when your baby is born and you hear what they are saying but it’s hard to understand because you haven’t been through that phase of your life yet. Well, we are now at that moment and time truly has gone too quickly. It seems only yesterday that you were noshing on turkey sticks, singing the pizza song or trying to jump off anything you could climb. Isn’t it funny that “geen” was your first color word and now is the color that you play in at Southwest?
You were the one who made us parents and have given us gray hairs! We have had our fair share of ups and downs but we couldn’t be more proud of you and what you have accomplished. We wouldn’t change a thing because without those struggles and triumphs, you wouldn’t be the person you are today. We know there is more out there for you to conquer and we are so excited to see where your journey takes you. May God continue to guide your path and provide you with strength and comfort as you start this next chapter. We love you more than you will ever know!!
Love,
Mom & Dad
