Here we are Max, preparing ourselves for your launch into adulthood. You probably can’t appreciate the perspective a parent has of “It seems like you were just born” or something similar. But it’s true! So thanks for bearing with us, kid. It brings us great comfort to know that you have been ready for this next step for some years now.

The pride we have in you for your accomplishments in academics, leadership, service, work, and your faith journey is strong. Your talents are obvious. You make so many things seem easy, even if they aren’t. Your true gift is who you are though, your calm loving spirit is one in a million bud, and this is what people respond to.
