2020 SENIOR
KATE
From the day you were born I knew that you were going to be a fabulous gift that your dad and I got to witness coming into this world. You were stubborn and did not want to enter this world on my terms but on your own (one week over my due date). That determination has carried you through the first almost 18 years of your life.
As I reflect on your first 18 years of your life, I can’t believe that your dad and I have witnessed a young, talented, energetic, determined and fun-loving little girl transform into a beautiful woman that will be graduating and going to college in the fall.
So many great memories we got to witness and be part of during this time. We remember when you were born, baptized, your first holy communion and confirmation. Each of these sacraments are important milestones in your life and ones you will cherish forever.
Dad and I enjoyed watching you progress into a great performer and athlete. We love that you had no fear and always volunteered to sing solos during class masses, and audition for various parts in your winter and spring programs. Your class and leadership were so apparent during your athletic career.
Now, you have the greatest road block right in front of you: COVID-19. You continue to amaze us with your resilience and class. You have yet to complain about what the next 30-60 days holds. We will celebrate you, your friends and your classmates, it just may not be when it was originally planned but on COVID-19’s terms.
Please always remember that you are loved! You are an amazing friend, co-worker, student, athlete, role model, cousin, granddaughter and most importantly OUR DAUGHTER!
Dad and I love you so very much and are super excited to see what the next chapter of your life brings you.
With All Our Love,
Mom and Dad
