2019 SENIOR
CAMERON
Back in 2001 a little white haired boy entered our lives and made us parents. Little did we know how much he would accomplish and how proud he would make us. Cameron, you have always had a big personality and amaze us with your smarts, wit and talent. Academics have always been your strong suit and your hard work shows with stellar grades year after year. With your love for Math and Science it is a perfect fit to study Chemical Engineering at the University of Nebraska this fall. You have always been an overachiever and perfectionist and hopefully those qualities will one day bring you much success in your career and whatever life delivers you.
Your love for baseball started at an early age and only grew and grew. You tried other sports like soccer and football but baseball was still your one love. From t-ball in kindergarten, select ball with your lifelong Blackhawk friends, to now a Varsity player at Southwest–you still love it more than ever. We have enjoyed watching you play from early on to now and rarely missed a game. All the time spent traveling and on the bleachers at the ball park–we wouldn’t trade for anything. Those were some of the best memories of you doing what you absolutely love and we got to watch you share your love with the YMCA 2nd graders this past summer as their coach. We will miss watching you play but know you’ll share your love of the game with your family one day.
As you get ready to move out of the nest and start your future, just know how incredibly proud we are of you and how you have shaped your life. You have so many goals and dreams and we are confident you will achieve them all. You are such a joy to us and our family and we look forward to seeing you grow more in college and find even more success! You made us parents for the first time and we are so thankful for you as our first born. We love you more than you will ever know!!
You learn more from failure than success. Don’t let it stop you. Failure builds character!
You gotta believe!
Love you,
Mom and Dad
